kale detox salad

GUYS THIS SALAD COMBO IS SO GOOD!!! It’s my favorite salad ever!!! Truth be told I make different variations of it depending on what ingredients I have on hand but the basic idea remains the same: nutrient dense ingredients that help my body detox and glow from the inside out! This kale detox salad has sooooo many detoxifying ingredients!

KALE: Kale is anti-inflammatory, high in fiber and packed with tons of vitamins and minerals that help promote detoxification.

CARROTS: Carrots are a particularly good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants.

BELL PEPPERS: Bell peppers are rich in many vitamins and antioxidants, especially vitamin C and various carotenoids!

RADISH: Radishes are amazing for liver and stomach health. They also purify the blood by killing toxins!

TOMATOES: Tomatoes are rich in the antioxidant lycopene, which helps protect your body from damage caused by compounds known as free radicals. Tomatoes are a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K!

CUCUMBER: Cucumbers are super hydrating. They are low in calories but high in many important vitamins and minerals.

LEMON JUICE: Lemons can help to increase your urine production, helping you to fend off bloating and offering detox benefits. They also contain a lot of healthy vitamin C which boosts your immune system. It helps to flush out toxins in your body, cleanse the liver, and improve your digestion!

GARLIC: Garlic has antiviral, antibacterial and antibiotic properties which make it an actual SUPERFOOD if you ask me . Garlic also contains allicin which promotes the production of white blood cells and helps fight against toxins!

✨ organic kale

✨ slivered organic carrots

✨ organic garbanzo beans (for fiber + protein!)

✨ Braggs Liquid Aminos (to marinate the garbanzo beans in!)

✨ cayenne pepper (to marinate the garbanzo beans in! This it totally optional though!)

✨ Garlic powder (to marinate the garbanzo beans in!)

✨ organic tomatoes

✨ organic cucumbers

✨ organic radish

✨ organic orange and yellow bell pepper


✨ organic lemon juice

✨ organic and vegan dijon mustard

✨ organic crushed garlic

✨ organic maple syrup

✨ Celtic sea salt and black pepper to taste
