When you think about what yoga is, I think most often what comes to mind is likely a physical practice, but yoga is SO MUCH more than just a physical practice. Yoga is a deeply healing and transformative practice that unifies the mind, spirit, body, breath, all while yielding presence, purpose, fulfillment, challenge, curiosity, expansion… the list goes on and on! My own personal practice has done so much for me, but most notably my yoga practice has been an opportunity for me to deepen and strengthen self-love, which I go into detail about in episode 6 of The Yoga Inspired Life Podcast: Yoga + Self-love 💗✨, it has served as a vessel for me to be of service to others via teaching yoga (side note: if you’re a new yoga teacher I share my top tips in episode 17 of The Yoga Inspired Life Podcast: LET’S TALK TEACHING YOGA💗!), my practice helped me heal after leaving an abusive relationship and it has truly given me so much purpose and clarity. Yoga is an all encompassing practice, and if you are willing to show up with an open heart and mind, and surrender to the flow, it has the ability to truly transform your life on a deeper level. To inspire you on your own yoga journey, I wanted to share some of my all-time favorite yoga quotes that reflect the multidimensional aspect of yoga. Most of these yoga quotes are from sacred yogic texts and incredible teachers, but I added one of my own too 😊💫 In addition to the quotes themselves I made some yoga quote graphics that you can repost on Instagram! Make sure to tag me @shaylaquinn so I can connect with you 🥰
I hope these yoga quotes light you up as much as they do me!
