It’s no secret I love my yoga activewear 🙂 It’s basically all I wear!
I am doing yoga nearly half the day collectively on most days, whether teaching or practicing; and the rest of the time I’m either working out or going on hikes, running errands, meeting friends, running around town, going to meetings etc. Sometimes there’s just not enough time to change in between the active stuff and the normal day-to-day stuff! (and frankly, most of the time I just don’t want to change lol) My theory is why change once I’m off the mat? Why not wear something functional on my mat, that I can wear to lunch with my friends after? Wearing workout clothes doesn’t have to mean an old pair of running shoes and a baggy old t-shirt from a turkey trot you ran in 5 years ago 😉
That’s why I am starting this series on my blog, to personally share my Yoga Street Style !
I’m sharing all of my favorite brands and how I put pieces together to create a stylized look for once my asana practice is over. I have tried so many different activewear brands and let me just say they are not all created equally as far as fit and quality go!
Yoga is NOT about how you look; however, I don’t see anything wrong with looking put together and feeling confident even after a long sweaty flow 🙂
This is one of my FAVORITE outfits !!!!!
The leggings and crop top are from L’URV
The black jacket is from alo yoga
JACKET: Black Shell Jacket
My yoga mat is by JADE Yoga
MAT: JADE
This jacket is E V E R Y T H I N G ! It’s neoprene; which means it keeps its structure which so happens to be my favorite part about this jacket. Neoprene isn’t very breathable so even though it looks like a light jacket it will definitely keep you warm, but because the sleeves are “meshed” you do get great airflow so it’s the perfect jacket for all weather! plus it’s sleek and sexy.
The wedged sneakers are Steve Madden
The sunnies are Le Specs Luxe
both from Nordstrom
The necklaces are by Amarilo
The hand chain and body chain are by Washed Ashore Adornments
The ear piece is by Kent & King
